One Suitcase.

This little girl from India owns ONE suitcase in all the world.
All her belongings fit in ONE metal suitcase.
Can you imagine with me for ONE minute?

You’re going on a weekend trip to Wisconsin Dells; can you fit everything in one metal suitcase? And that’s just for ONE weekend. How about a ONE week trip to Savannah for a family vacation? Could you do it? Let’s think bigger. Could you fit everything in one metal suitcase if you left your home, left your family and traveled many miles to live somewhere permanently?
Americans are in the TOP 3% of the world's wealth. God has blessed us with ALL our NEEDS and even given us many of our WANTS. And yet we still try to play god and do things our own way. We have every electronic toy, we have iphones that can bring us an answer within seconds, we have more things than we know what to do with. We rely on government programs, we depend on welfare to feed us, and we tell our local church we don’t need anything.
We may be RICH in material items, but we are POOR in Spirit. Sometimes I’m tempted to give all my material items to the poor and then go live with the poor. They may be POOR in material items, but they are RICH in Spirit.
The solution. If every Christian would adopt ONE child in poverty, there would be no line of poverty. Send ONE child to school. Educate the children. Break the line. This tells me Christians are not taking their job seriously and taking care of ONE orphan, reaching out to ONE in need, visiting ONE in prison, feeding ONE who is starving, taking care of ONE who is sick.  We begrudgingly give our money to the government so they can take care of the children in poverty. As Americans, we generally don’t give JOYFULLY to those in need out of our own pockets and we look to others to do the job for us.
Ladies of beauty..... accessorize yourselves to have HANDS that reach out, take care of and feed those in need. Ask yourself what can I do? What ONE person can I reach out to? Strive to be better. Strive to meet the standards of a Proverbs 31 woman.....Proverbs 31:13 "works with diligent HANDS." Just ONE more person to help, just ONE more blog to write, just ONE more minute spent with God.
Think JUST.... ONE..... MORE.
