Spending sweet time with Jesus.
We limit ourselves and what we allow Jesus to do in our lives.
We squeeze an hour of church in a week and rush back home to our busy weeks.
Jesus has SO. . .MUCH. . .MORE for us.
Being a new mama, I want to squeeze out every ounce of love for my son and don't realize how drained I become in the process.
We give of ourselves to our husbands, to our kids, to our friends, to church and don't realize how drained we become in the process.
Jesus has so much more for us and an hour of church isn't going to give us all the strength we need.
I sit here on a Monday morning while it lightly rains out my door and let the peaceful words of hymns surround me and already I feel stronger.
"All to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give.
I will ever love and trust Him.
In His presence daily live.
I surrender all, I surrender all."
We have to surrender all at His feet and lay our burdens down before He can fill us with His strength. We have to repent before He can forgive us. We have to confess before He can heal us.
