Beauty Among Thorns Girls Event.

This night was laid on my heart through a school ministry project, being the visionary leader that I am, and God really showed up. Testimonies were inspiring and encouraging. We had a great time. Beauty Among Thorns continues to unfold in ways I NEVER could've imagined or dreamed. God's dreams are bigger than ours. He has His plans and we have ours, but God's plans are always better. I'm just blessed to be a small part of God's plans. 

Beauty Among Thorns Girls' All Nighter

My dear friends Kara and Shayna, Hairstylits, came to do hair demos. 

MamaHopie came to do Manicures.

We played fun games late into the night. 

And loved on all the girls. 

I Am a Beauty Among the Thorns

When I look into a mirror, I may see my flaws

I may see my blemishes

But God sees my beauty.

When I look into a mirror, it may reflect big thighs

It may reflect flat chest

But God looks in the mirror and sees my beautiful reflection.

When I look into a mirror, I may see trash

But God sees treasure.

I am a woman of true beauty.

God has cleansed me pure as a beautiful white lily;

a flower of true purity standing out among the thorns of the world.

I am valuable

I am fearfully and wonderfully made

 I was created by the Master Artist of all beautiful things.

I am worth far more than rubies.

I am a child of God

and I deserve to be treasured.

I am not ugly, I am beautiful.

I am perfectly made by a God who loves me more than words can describe.

 I was bought for a price. I was searched and sought after.

 I am treasured. I am worth far more than rubies.

I am priceless.

There is no one else like me.

I am a lily among the thorns.
