Precious Girls of India.

Repalle, India
I took a two week trip with Trinity to India over Christmas break and my eyes were opened yet again in a yet a NEW way. Hundres of girls live at this orphanage to get educated. Some girls are orphans and some go home to their families when they can pay to go home on breaks. We were able to encourage them, speak life into them and pray God would continue to take care of them. The missionaries Dee & Emmanuel were incredible people with huge hearts for the girls. They took us around the surrounding villages to see what life is like there and where the girls come from, some off the streets.

We walked the streets among Muslims. It was like stepping right into the Global Mission Magazine pictures and living and breathing the stories you read about. We put on services for thousands of people, held a convention on the grounds and people mingling on the streets were STARVING to come listen to our message.

I was blown away by their DEEP conviction of PRAYER.  I mean one glance at this little girl and your whole faith gets rocked to the core. She sat there and PRAYED for HOURS in the early hours of the morning. We would hear them from up in our comfortable guest housing.

ONE suitcase is ALL this little girl owns in the WORLD. One.

Sisters.

The Team

The long, cramped, stinky train ride we took.

This was our WELCOMING committee. So bright and colorful and FULL of LIFE.
BEAUTY of Joy stands out AMONG the POVERTY of India.

BEAUTY of Truth of the Word of God stands out AMONG girls at play.

 Water?!?

The Hindu mom eagerly handed her child over to me. I just silently prayed.

Weaving blankets to sell.

The state of the Church. Missionaries working hard to strengthen the Church.

Hands that have seen hard work. Hands that have lived.

 Hands of beauty.
