In the Beginning.

Hi, I'm Heidi and I want to share my life with you to give you a glimpse into the person God is creating me to be and the work He is going to do through me. I enjoy making art but it's Him I have to give the glory to. I was once a mess headed down a destructive road, but He brought me back to the right path, He brought good from my bad decisions and made me a  Beauty Among the Thorns of this world. My heart's desire is to share with other girls their beauty in Christ and let you know how YOU are a beauty among the thorns of your world.

I discovered the beauty that God created me to be, and that's why I like to make messy, old items into something beautiful. From your trash to my treasure. From old, antiqued to my inspiration. God takes the pain and thorns of our lives and creates beauty, and turns
tears into pearls

So the story unfolds.... I was walking the streets of London as a college student and came across a beautiful shop of mirrors. I could see in the back of the store some were cracked, some were shattered, but the mirrors in the front window were restored and ready to shine. Ever since then I have been creating works of art and giving God all the glory. I find shabby mirrors at garage sales and I turn them into true beauties. God loves to do that with His girls; us, you and me, we are daughters of the King. He loves to take our BROKEN pieces and RESTORE us.

:Accessories for the beautiful woman: I will be sharing with you the accessories you will need to live a more abundant life and to become a more beautiful woman.

I would LOVE to share with you all the pieces I create and hopefully speak life into your brokenness.

 Cranberry Vintage Mirror

I found a mirror laying on the side of the road in someone's garbage so I picked it up, cleaned it and painted it. Before the paint dried, I used sand paper to scrub off the paint to give it the "antique" look. Then I went around to antique shops, thrift stores, and resales to find old jewelry. I used earrings, necklaces, dried flowers, South African coins, rusted pennies, buttons, decorative mirrors, beads, jewels, pearls, treasured keys, stencil art and seashells to turn it into a whole new interesting piece!!
I RESTORED it to its original beauty and made it even MORE beautiful.
